Fee Schedule
Configure the Fee Schedule
If you want to use Room or Age Group fees, you must first configure your fee schedule. This is done in Finance / Fee Schedule. Once those fees have been set up, you can use them on each child's fee page. If you only ever plan to use Age Group fees, you can leave the room fees blank, and vice versa.
Charge Items
Every fee must have a Charge Item value. If none of the available charge items are suitable, you can create new charge items in Admin / Finance / Charge Items. For more information on charge items click here.
Age Groups
The age groups listed here are defined in Admin / Program / Age Groups. By default these age groups are defined according to Alberta Child Care Licensing standards, and these are the same age groups that are used to calculate real time ratios in each room, so make sure that if you change these age groups they match the licensing standards in your region.
Automatically Calculate Part Time Fees
At the top of the page is an option to "Automatically calculate part time fees". With this option enabled, anytime you enter or change a Full Time fee, the rest of the fees for that age group or room (4 days p. week, 3 days p. week, etc.) will be automatically calculated and populated.
The formula used for calculating part time fees takes a fraction of the full time fee according to the number of days, where five days is considered full time, rounds up and adds a premium. The rounding and premium are defined as follows:

Even when part time fees are automatically calculated, you can override them if desired.
