If you need to lock family transactions so that nobody can change them again, after a certain date, you can enable the Transaction Lock. This option is in Admin / Finance / Transaction Lock.
Once the date is set, all transactions on the family transaction register prior to your chosen date, will be marked with a red lock icon, and those transactions can not be modified or deleted.
This lock does not impact your ability to view, print or email invoices or receipts, but it does prevent you from creating new invoices prior to the lock date.
Deposits dated prior to your lock date will not be allowed to be converted using the original date, but you will be prompted to select a new date after your lock date, then you will be allowed to convert it to a payment.
