Secure Staff Profiles

If you have a single shared user login for your staff to share, you may still want to prevent staff from looking at each other's profiles.  This can be done by use of a four digit PIN.  Once this option is enabled, anytime a staff member clicks on any staff name they will be prompted for a PIN.  If they don't know the PIN, they will be denied.

Set a PIN

The first thing to do is set a PIN on each staff member's profile.  This pin can be set at the bottom of the Personal page, under the Profile tab.  



Enable the PIN

Once the PINs are set, you need to enable the option in Settings / Staff.  Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and look for the section titled Prompt for Security PIN.



This option is enabled based on security profile, so if you have multiple security profiles on your account they will all be listed here.

If this option is enabled and a staff member has no PIN, then they will still be prompted but because the PIN is blank, a blank PIN can be submitted and will be accepted.
