Dayhome Search

To begin your search, go to Agency / Dayhome Search. Then select a family from the list.  The idea is that the family you're helping is already in your system because they've completed the online registration form.  If they are not yet in your system you can also manually type a street address into the address bar of the search window.



We will be using the Simpson family as an example.  The mother's address is automatically selected, but the father's address can also be selected by selecting from the address dropdown.



The map automatically centres on the selected address.  Zoom in to see the areas near the selected address.

Select areas to refine your search, then click Search.





Search results are immediately displayed on the Results tab.  And include the number of available spaces in each age group.  To see the dayhomes on a map, use the Map All Results button.



To calculate the driving distance from the family's house to each dayhome, click Calculate Driving Distance.



The driving distance in minutes and kilometers is added.



Select the dayhomes you'd like to forward to the family in an email, then click Forward Selected.



An email is automatically generated with the parents' email addresses pre-filled...



And the selected providers contact info, including driving time and a link to driving directions, neatly formatted in the body of the email.



Modify the email as needed.  When you're ready, click Send Email.
