Servers
All TimeSavr servers and data are stored in a professionally monitored server farm in Montreal by a multi-national company called Leaseweb, which has data centres in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. TimeSavr servers are kept in a controlled environment, protected by a hardware firewall, monitored around the clock in a secure location and backed up by emergency power generators.
Data
Data is backed up nightly and maintained for 14 days.
When you access any web page, information is collected about you such as your I.P. address, which may identify you, depending on standards followed by your internet service provider. You may wish to ask your internet service provider about their policies and practices in this regard.
Any information collected by the website is held for you to be used for the Core Purposes only. The Provider will not make any use of that information other than to store it for your use.
The following data will be purged from the TimeSavr database periodically.
- Child Attendance Records - Purged after 3 Years
- Delete History - Purged after 1 Year
- Update History - Purged after 1 Year
- Error log - Purged after 1 Year
Child attendance records can be exported from TimeSavr by the user at any time to be kept offline indefinitely. To export data from TimeSavr go to Admin / Tools / Export.
Data Transmission
To protect your information we implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server and all supplied information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All data transmitted from the server to your browser and back is protected by 256 bit encryption.
Payment information is encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Privacy
When registering on our site, you will be asked to enter your name, company name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. As well as choosing a username and password which you will use to access the site.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To personalize your experience
- To improve customer service
- To send periodic emails
The email address you provide on your user profile, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your use of the website. All update emails will include an Unsubscribe link which you can use to opt out of future mailings.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any of the information you enter into the website. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
