Mark a Dayhome Educator Unavailable

Mark a Dayhome Educator Unavailable

Dayhome educators, watch the following videos for instructions on how to mark yourself unavailable.

Mobile Version

To mark an educator as unavailable, click on the Educator menu and then select Hours.

Then on the Educator Availability tab, select the date range for which the educator is unavailable.   To select a date range, select two dates on the calendar, and press SET.

You can select a date range that covers weekends or other days the educator is not typically available, and TimeSavr will automatically skip those days when creating the record.  TimeSavr uses the educator’s “Hours of Operation” to determine when an educator is normally available.  If no Hours of Operation are entered, then no unavailability records can be created.

Then mark the children for whom the educator is unavailable.

If you have the paid/unpaid option enabled in Settings / Dayhomes, then that will also appear for each child you’ve marked.

The Unavailable Dates tab shows you the list of dates the provider is unavailable.

When an educator is marked unavailable, the Adjustments page will allow the agency to easily adjust a family’s charges based on the unavailability of the educator.
