There are two methods you can use to add a child to the wait list.
Method 1: Enrolment List
Each of your programs in Timesavr has four enrolment lists. Active, Waiting, Terminated and Unconfirmed. Each child in your database is in one of these four lists. To move a child to the waiting list they must first exist in one of those other three lists, and so this article assumes that they do.
The following instructions apply equally to the Active, Terminated and Unconfirmed lists, but typically children are moved to the waiting list after being newly added to your database, and so for that reason we will use the Unconfirmed list as our example.
From your main menu, go to Daycare / Unconfirmed List. Find the name of the child you want to add to the waiting list, then click on the hamburger icon (three lines) underneath Options.
A dropdown menu will appear where you can click Move to Waiting List.
A red flag icon next to a child's name indicates it is a new child. Once you click on the flag, it will convert to a hamburger icon where you can then move the child to the wait list.
Method 2: Enrolment Page
The second way to do it is from the child's enrolment page. The fastest way to get to a child's enrolment page is to enter their name in the search field at the top and then select their name in the search results.
The search results should take you to the family profile page. Click on the child's tab to go to their page, then click on Enrolment.
Below the start and end date you'll see the child's current enrolment status selected. To move the child to the waiting list click "Move to Waiting List".
Waiting List Email
If you've enabled the option to automatically send out the waiting list email. the parents will now have received your automated email informing them that their child has been moved to the waiting list.
To confirm the child is on the waiting list go to Daycare / Waiting List.
